Following its recognition as the “Best Culinary Destination” at the World Tourism Awards 2025, held during the Global Tourism Forum in Brussels, Azerbaijan once again captured international attention.
To mark this achievement, the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg hosted a networking event titled “Azerbaijan: An Emerging Tourism Destination.”
In his opening remarks, Ambassador Vaqif Sadiqov welcomed distinguished guests and highlighted Azerbaijan’s rich cultural heritage, culinary traditions, and tourism potential. He emphasized the country’s growing role as a dynamic and diverse tourism hub connecting East and West.
