Heydar Aliyev International Education Grant Program
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan are pleased to announce the "Heydar Aliyev - International Education Grant Program" for 2025-2026 academic year.
This program is dedicated to the exceptional role of the founder of modern Azerbaijan, the brilliant political and state figure, and the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, in securing a deserving position for the Republic of Azerbaijan in the international relations system. The grant program was founded in order to support the education of foreigners in Azerbaijani higher education institutions.
Grant Duration
The grant will be offered annually for a period of 5 years, starting from the 2024–2025 academic year.
Number of Grants
100 educational grants will be provided annually.
Eligible Countries
Member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Member states of the Non-Aligned Movement Small Island Developing States Countries sharing common cultural, ethnic and historical ties with Azerbaijan
Eligible Education Levels
Bachelor’s Program General medicine Program Master’s Program Medical Residency Program Doctoral (PhD) Program
Grant Coverage
Beneficiaries of the "Heydar Aliyev International Education Grant Program" will be provided with the following provisions:

Monthly allowance
Medical insurance
