Azerbaijan's economic potential was highlighted at an event in Luxembourg
An event was held in Luxembourg with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Belgium and Luxembourg and the Delegation of the European Union, bringing together more than 40 representatives from various European business circles.
As part of the event, the Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), Vusal Gasimli, delivered a presentation covering Azerbaijan’s macroeconomic outlook, investment climate, transit and logistics capabilities, green energy initiatives, and developments in the digital economy. He also provided information on support tools for SMEs, investment incentives, special economic zones, and economic opportunities in the Alat Free Economic Zone, Karabakh, East Zangezur, and Nakhchivan.
H.E. Ambassador Vagif Sadigov opened the event by addressing the current state of Azerbaijan–Luxembourg relations and emphasizing the importance of enhancing direct engagement between the business communities of both countries. He also noted the potential role of an Azerbaijan–Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in supporting future cooperation and facilitating mutual trade and investment. Participants from Luxembourg welcomed the exchange of information and expressed interest in exploring opportunities in areas such as green energy, digital services, logistics, and financial technologies. Both sides highlighted the potential for joint initiatives and expanded collaboration between small and medium-sized enterprises. The event contributed to introducing Azerbaijan’s economic potential to Luxembourg’s business community and supporting efforts to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation
