Armenian occupation causes over $810 bln damages to Azerbaijan

The working group charged with assessing the damages caused to Azerbaijan as a result of Armenia's aggressive policy presented a report on “armed Armenian aggression: our losses and damages”.

The event began with the demonstration of a documentary about atrocities, massacres and pogroms committed by Armenians.

The chairman of the working group Khanhuseyn Kazimli said that the main objective of the group is to assess the damages caused by Armenians, demand compensation from Armenia after the liberation of the occupied territories and raise this issue at the international level.

According to latest calculations, occupation of the Azerbaijani lands caused $147.80 bln damages to the people and $126.46 bln damages to the state. Azerbaijan totally faced $818.88 bln damage covering damages to natural resources, material heritage and other areas. 

The working group continues the work on calculating the damages.
