Information of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov with the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Toivo Klaar

On April 19, 2022, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Toivo Klaar.

The sides exchanged views on the current situation in the region, steps taken to normalize relations between the two countries, as well as issues related to the implementation of agreements reached at the Brussels meeting, held on April 6 with the mediation and participation of the President of the Council of the EU.

At the meeting, the importance of progress towards normalization of relations to ensure peace and security in the region, including the start of the delimitation process, the preparation of a peace agreement, the continuation of humanitarian steps and the opening of all communication lines was emphasized.
